WHAT IS FASS?
FASS stands for Fuel Air Separation System and is a combination diesel fuel lift pump and air filtration system that is designed to improve your diesel truck's fuel mileage, engine performance, and extend the life of your diesel injection system.

HOW IT WORKS
Fuel enters at the Port of Entry (1) carrying dirt, water, and vapor. It first passes through the Particulate Filter (2), which traps dirt and debris up to 2 Microns absolute. Then, fuel becomes pressurized (3) as it makes its way to the Extreme Water Separator. Over 99% of the water (4) is trapped before the pure fuel (5) is sent up to separate air and vapor. Air/Vapor is returned to the fuel tank (6), and purified fuel (7) is sent to the engine.

THE ORIGIN STORY
The FASS story began with founder Brad Ekstam's vision for a better fuel/air separation system. His passion took root in the early 1990s and grew through years of hands-on learning. In 2003, Brad began building FASS systems out of his garage. As demand quickly grew, so did the business, expanding into our current facility in Marthasville, Missouri.
